“We gave KYLLO a mid evening slot on the main stage in front of 4 000 and watched him turn a field full of chatting people into an engaging festival audience... he really got the party started! A heart-stopping live vocal, and what a stage presence! Needless to say we booked him for the next year, on the spot!”

KYLLO is the newest incarnation of Zimbabwean born and raised singer-songwriter and producer Ryan Koriya. Ryan grew up studying classical music, namely violin and cello at the Zimbabwe College of Music on a full scholarship as he excelled in his performance art from day one.
Having taken his captivating live show and riveting vocals to over 12 countries a year spanning 4 continents since 2013, based in Ibiza Spain, Ryan debuts as KYLLO in the motherland this December. A fresh mix of Pop, EDM, Afro, House, Classical and Ethnic sensibilities, this is a sound that trancends borders and creates a commercially-friendly vibe which also showcases what Africa has to offer in what is a booming global economy.
KYLLO is not a stranger to the Vic Falls Carnival stage and is known for his ability to engage with a crowd in a way that demonstrates just why his live shows have already been well received in Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand, North America and Southern Africa. Having recently added Switzerland to the mix, the list of destinations keeps getting bigger.
Symphonic Dance Music
"KYLLO is my Calvin Harris meets Imagine Dragons meets Seal. Being a strings player myself, I am also adding Orchestral Sounds to the mix as well as Tribal/Ethnic elements which I am currently dubbing as Symphonic Dance Music or Passion Pop.
I will still be perfoming guitar music in the future but under a different name, also signed to Runway Vertical Records.
It's been over 3 years since my last performance in Zimbabwe (The Drowning In Space tour) so it will be a special way to end 2019.
This will be the first time I will ever be performing without my guitar in Zimbabwe which frees me up to move around and really vibe with the crowd. I released my first Deep House single in 2014 with Danny Darko and I am looking forward to singing these dance tracks and more, live in full electronic tilt.
I will be performing at Neverland Zimbabwe in Harare on the 14th of December and will then see the year out with a live set at the Vic Falls Carnival on December the 31st which I have perfomed at in the past but not as KYLLO, so this will be extra fun.
More KYLLO songs and videos will be released soon leading up to the Zim shows."
